A 3-year journey to become a specialist

            Journal of Travel Medicine has just published our manuscript on our residency training in travel medicine. It is the first time that our course has formally recognized in the international level. In this article, we share our story on how and why we developed this course. What is the philosophy of our course. And why do we need three full years to train a junior doctor be a specialist in this field.
